Feast of St. Melania the Younger, Foundress & Desert Mother, lived during the reign of Emperor Honorius, the paternal granddaughter of Melania the Elder. She married Valerius Pinianus; they traveled to Africa & befriended Augustine of Hippo.  Died in Jerusalem, December 31, 439.
