Feast of St. Piran, 5th-century Cornish abbot and hermit near Padstow in Cornwall.  St. Piran’s Day is the national day of Cornwall.  Patron of Tin miners and Cornwall although Saint Michael and Saint Petroc also have some claim to the title.
